Stan Carpenter- Head Varsity Coach

Coach Carpenter has been coaching volleyball since 1998 where he started the program at Shiloh High School.  He moved to Collins Hill High School as the head coach in 2001-2006. Where he was 3 times Region Champs 2004,2005, 2006, State Tournament 04 Elite 8 ,05 Final 4,  06 Elite 8. Carpenter started the Mountain View High School program in 2009. In 2011 the Mountain View finished 2nd in Area 8AAAAA and made it the Sweet 16 Round of the State Tournament. In 2013 Mountain View finished 33-17 Area Runner Up and Sweet Sixteen in the State Tournament. 2014 Finished 30-20, eliminated in the first Round of State by the State Champions. In 2015 The Bears finished 36-17 in Elite 8 of the State Tournament.  Coach Carpenter has 451 wins as of 2020 Season as a Varsity Coach.





Apryl Daniel - Assistant Varsity Coach

Apryl is beginning her 5th season coaching high school volleyball and 10th seasons as a volleyball coach. She graduated from Dacula High School in 2012 where she played for 4 years. After high school she began coaching club volleyball at NFC (Never Fear Competition) for 3 seasons focusing on 16–18-year old's as well as coaching the developmental team. She then began to coach at 41 South where she coached for 2 seasons working with 16-17-year old's. When she was accepted into the education program at Georgia Gwinnett College, she began coaching at Dacula Middle School to focus on the fundamentals of volleyball. She continued coaching at Dacula Middle School for 2 seasons and then accepted her teaching position at Dacula High School. She took over the Freshman Volleyball team for 2 seasons and then looped up to coach JV. During her JV season her team went undefeated 25-0 and won the JV tournament. Last year she coached the JV team at Jackson County High School and is now returning to Gwinnett County. Coach Daniel is so excited be a part of the program here at Mountain View High School.

2020 Coach Kendall

Kendall Hardy - JV Coach

Kendall is starting her first season coaching at Mountain View High School. She began playing ten years ago and played for Tsunami, Atlanta Extreme, and Metro volleyball clubs. She attended Brookwood High School where she was a two-year varsity starter. During her time at Brookwood, she won back-to-back area championships and went to the Sweet Sixteen state tournament, both years. She played volleyball at the collegiate level for three years at Truett McConnell University, where she earned "Offensive Player Of The Year" in her final season. Coach Hardy is excited for her 2nd year coaching at Mountain View.

Bionca Thomas - Freshman Coach

Bionca has been with the Mountain View Program for 5 years.  She has coached at Atlanta Extreme and Lanier Volleyball Clubs.  She is former Collins Hill Player.
